1. Public Service-oriented Administration

To best serve residents in the era of decentralization, we seek to promote “open administration,” “crystal clear and transparent management of county affairs,” “sympathetic care for the residents.” The work of highly motivated public servants shall be the groundwork in providing better service for the people, thus shaking off authoritative practices and expediency. Ultimately, we are going to pursue the administration “by the residents” and “for the residents.”

2. Revitalization of the Economy

We are going to do utmost to put the local economy back on the track by attracting environment-friendly industrial complex and universities through deregulation, constructing leisure parks and a distribution center for inter-Korean economic cooperation and exchanges backed by the Borderland Support Projects and inducing the second Folk village.

3. Local Development

We are going to promote love for the County and permanent settlement among residents through balanced local development, improvement of living conditions and development of remote and residential areas. All energy of the County shall be poured into the administration to make sure that the County is reborn into a place where all people want to come back to and live by creating tourism complexes including tour sites for security facilities and ecotourism park.

4. Cultural Promotion

ystematic maintenance will be applied to cultural assets to prevent the loss of valuable cultural heritage. We will provide full support for local cultural and artistic activities by holding and assisting various events and securing enough space for creative activities. On top of it, we'll spare no efforts in integrating traditional cultural properties into the modern era.
