Gate of faithful Soonha Nam is an award of gate to commemorate good deeds of Soonha Nam, a faithful son of the village, and his grand daughter-in-law, Lady Kim of Cheongpung in Chosun era. The left is the gate for Soonha Nam, and the right is the gate for Lady Kim of Cheongpung.

Soonha Nam was born in 1694(20 th year of Sookjong), and dead in 1776( 51 st year of Youngjo). He lived in late Chosun era. He was kind and deeply respectful for his parents despite the difficult financial situation of his family. When his sick father wished to eat bracken soup and a carp, he went out to find them for days, despite the cold and snowy weather in winter, and brought them to meet his father¡¯s wish.

Lady Kim of Cheongpung, who was also faithful to her parents-in-law, was very respectful of her parents-in-law. When her husband was sick, she was dedicated to taking care of him and he was recovered from the illness. The original building was lost during Korean War, and the current one is the one newly built.
